Climate Resilience Dialogue - Launch event 

The European Commission is launching a Climate Resilience Dialogue. The intention of this Dialogue is to develop a collective understanding between insurers, reinsurers, businesses, consumers and other stakeholders with the objective of narrowing the climate protection gap. The Dialogue will discuss how the insurance industry can contribute to climate adaptation, from actions to increase climate risk insurance penetration among industry and other stakeholders, to incentives and investment in good adaptation solutions.

The Climate Resilience Dialogue launch event, which will be held on 29 November 2022 at Rue de Spa 2, Brussels, from 9:00 until 16:00. The launch event will be an opportunity to meet other participants of the Dialogue and to  build a common understanding of the challenges ahead.
