The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is organising two important meetings for the beneficiaries of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.
The events below, held in cooperation with the Directorate General for International Partnerships, will take place back-to-back on 14-17 April 2026.
Kick-off meeting for all Intra-Africa projects 2024
14-15 April
The kick-off meeting will focus on the project cycle management, contractual rules and the organisation of project activities (e.g. promotion and selection procedure, cooperation mechanisms, recognition of studies, financial management…) through plenary sessions and workshops. At the end of the meeting, half a day will be dedicated to consortium meetings.
Cluster meeting on Green Transition
16-17 April
A Cluster meeting on Green Transition will be organised to discuss Intra-Africa projects' contribution to the green transition in Africa by sharing good practices and lessons learned among the projects selected in 2023 and 2024 as well as some of those funded in 2016-2020.
Gathering different projects representatives, the event will provide an opportunity to showcase the contribution of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme to the Global Gateway strategy on accelerating the green transition in Africa. Further information will be provided on how projects will be invited to present their contribution.
Participants
One representative per partner and two per coordinating institution are expected to participate, to both the Kick-off and the Cluster meetings for the projects selected in 2024, and only to the Cluster meeting for the projects selected in 2023.
The participants should be those involved in the coordination and management of the projects.
